Mission Statement:

Provide women of the emergency drop-in shelter in White Plains, New York (Westchester county) with TLC packages; individually wrapped

packages containing Toiletries, Linens and Convenient food items

in an attractive and dignified manner.

Maintain a priority for the new arrivals at the women's emergency shelter.

Reach out to the community to obtain product and food donations.

TLC packages include basics items: toothpaste, toothbrush, soap,

shampoo, deodorant, wash cloth and convenient food items.

Donate items to the shelter as they become available and on a year round basis.

Fall Season 2011 -

The 'Sitching for Sisters' project in on...hats & scarves are being Crocheted & Knitted for distribution in December.

Not since the Great Depression has the rate 0f homelessness been so high...

The woman's shelter in White Plains, New York is home to on average 30 women.

The ladies have a real need for items of daily living... TLC packages  is working to provide care packages on an ongoing basis.

Review: The Stitching Project is over for 2010...yay!! Crocheted scarves were included in TLC packages.

Christmas 2010 the ladies receivedthe Christmas TLC tote bags full of goodies: Each tote contains 2 Ziploc bags (one with convenient food items & one with toiletries, a crocheted scarf and pair of socks and 2 bags of homemade treats (cookies & peppermint bar).  Panera

offered donations of danishes, bagels and bread as well.
